The Field Support Engineer serves as a main point of contact for Invisible AI’s customers and serves as company liaison with customers on administrative and technical matters for assigned projects. Nationwide travel is required, up to 75%. This role is responsible for effectively providing services to support the on-site installation, start-up, maintenance, and operation of the Invisible AI equipment and software applications.
Recent Projects:
- Flying across the country to provide support services in the installation and bring-up of Invisible AI cameras in a major OEM facility
- Returning to sites for the maintenance and support operations of Invisible AI cameras, sometimes solo
- Did a thorough check and approved operational quality of an existing installation
- Taught customers how to use the Invisible AI camera system during bring up
- Helped to establish metrics for customer satisfaction
- Planned ahead to determine travel schedule for multiple customers including needs identification, tracking, and reporting
- Provided leadership for maintenance crews, contractors, and project support personnel to accomplish the mission
- Developed documentation on standard operating procedures and system audits
- Kept good lines of communication with customer support leadership and customers
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Automation, Engineering, or Technology related field
- Experience on Lean Manufacturing and/or Industrial Engineering on a world-class manufacturing facility
- Ability to travel throughout US, with flexibility to work overtime, on-call and weekends, as required
- 5+ years of related experience, preferably in the Automotive Industry
- Experience in setting up network equipment
- Experience in PLC setup and/or programming
